TENBURY High School has been helping students plan for the future with a Careers Fair.
It was led by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and gave students the chance to consider future work opportunities.
Professions such as the police and armed forces, as well as manufacturing and enterprise companies were invited to provide a ‘market place’ of information.
Higher and further education colleges as well as apprenticeship providers were also invited.
The event was administrated by Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and was one of a number of school events held across Worcestershire.
More than 40 invited organisations provided a ‘market place’ of information, advice and guidance on apprenticeships, training, FE, HE and employment to more than 200 young people, parents and carers from the school.
Adrian Price, the principal at the Tenbury High School Orimiston Academy, described it as a successful evening that provided useful information.
