WORK has been going on to improve parking around Burford Primary School.
There has been for a long time traffic congestion due to parent parking around Burford Primary in Foresters Road, Holly Road and Border Way.
An unused area of the school grounds is to be provided for additional parking.
Work has started this week to clear an unused area of the school grounds to create safer parking.
Ray Morris, a governor of the school where his granddaughter is a pupil, has been one of the people behind the project.
The contractors carrying out the work are K S Beaumont & Sons and Mark Beaumont’s children used to attend the school.
Work should be finished in time for the start of the new school term.
