PARENTS and friends of art students at Tenbury High Ormiston Academy were invited to attend a VIP opening of a show of GCSE artwork with a glass of 'bubbly' to celebrate.
Students were congratulated on their work by Tenbury's mayor, Mark Willis.
The display included coursework by all GCSE students based on Pop Art and Natural Forms.
For their exam, students chose from a range of titles including 'Outline', 'Diary' and 'From Above' and completed a final exam piece in ten hours.
Art work is required to be developed from the work of existing artists and this was reflected in a huge range from Turner to Damian Hurst.
The work also showed a huge range of media including some exceptional water colour, ink, textile work and lino cutting.
