THE owners of 11 Morris cars, dating from 1932 to 1948, gathered at Burford House near Tenbury on Sunday morning as part of the Morris Register national "Drive-it Day".

After suitable refuelling (for drivers and passenger) the cars moved off making their way through country lanes to the Hop Pocket Village at Bishops Frome for a sit-down Sunday lunch, after which they dispersed once again for their home parts of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Two cars, a 1934 Morris 10/4, and a 1948 Series e continued on to Hereford to take part in the special Bicentennial Celebration and unveiling of the Stirling Hot Air Engine at the Hereford Waterworks Museum.

The Morris register is the national association for Morris cars designed before 1940.
