PEOPLE in Tenbury had a chance to get involved in theatre.
The Regal is setting up its own amateur theatre group and those with an interest had the chance to drop in for a chat.
It is the latest initiative from The Regal that each year stages a pantomime bringing together professional and amateur actors and actresses.
The group is looking for people keen to be involved not just as performers but also in technical and back stage roles.
Following an £800,000 Heritage Lottery funded refurbishment, the Regal, which is owned by Tenbury Town Council, is operated on a long lease by an independent trust.
One of the conditions of the lottery funding was that the venue should involve the community in its activities.
The Regal, which was built in the 1930s, is regarded as a historic treasure and is one of the few remaining examples of small town cinemas built between the two world wars.
