IF Tenbury looks cleaner than usual then there is a Queen to thank!

Her Maj has not been out and about with dustpan and brush but people in the town joined in a special ‘Clean for the Queen’ campaign.

The national initiative is being staged across the country to celebrate the up-coming 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.

Volunteers met up at the Pump Rooms and spent up to three hours cleaning up the part of the town that they care most about.

Cleaning equipment and hot drinks were provided with a clear message to dispose of any paper cups or sandwich rappers in rubbish bins!
