POLICE are appealing for witnesses of a robbery near Tenbury.
West Mercia Police is appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the robbery on Thursday (October 15).
Between 10.40am and 11am a delivery driver pulled into a lay-by in his grey Fiat Punto in Kingswood.
When he got out of the vehicle he saw two men with their hoods up running down the hill towards him and pointing at him.
He feared for his safety and stepped back before the men got into the car and drove away in the direction of Abberley.
Around 30 minutes later the vehicle was found burnt out in a wooded area by Wynniatts Way in Abberley. A blue Vauxhall Astra is also believed to be linked the incident.
A man, who is in his 40s and who is from the Birmingham area, has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Further enquiries are still ongoing and officers are asking for members of the public to come forward with any information.
"I would like to take this early opportunity to express my thanks to vigilant members of the community who have already provided us with valuable information to help with our enquiries,” said Detective Inspector Andy Price.
"If you noticed anything suspicious in the Stanford Bridge or Abberley areas please call 101 quoting incident number 169S of 15th October."
