THERE will be a chance for people in Tenbury to question Phil Grove on-line.

He is both leader of Malvern Hills District Council as well as a member for Tenbury.

They will also be able to put questions to the chief executive of Malvern Hills District Council as part of Local Democracy Week.

“Accountability is a really important part of local democracy and we should be making it easier for people to find out how we spend their money and about the decisions we make,” said Phil Grove.

“I’m hoping as many people as possible will take the opportunity to get involved and ask a question.”

Until 5pm on Friday, 16 October, residents, groups and organisations can send in questions they want answered on any part of the council’s work.

They will then be put to Cllr Phil Grove, Leader of the Council and Chief Executive Jack Hegarty. Their answers will then be published online as a video blog.

Questions can be sent in by tweeting @MHDCcomms by emailing claire.vaughan@malvernhills.gov.uk or write to Claire Vaughan, Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, WR14 3AF.
