IT was an almost perfect early summer day for one of the great annual spectacles in the Teme Valley.

The Lindridge Show took place at Woodston Manor with entertainment for all the family and something special for those that love horses and dogs.

There were four show rings in operation throughout the day which boosted the bank balances of four good causes: the village church, Hereford and Worcestershire First Responders, Midland Air Ambulance and Riding for the Disabled.

Horse classes took place throughout the day including show jumping and judging classes ranged from ponies to veteran and working hunter.

Dogs also had their day with one of the popular events being a novelty dog show.

The show also included a fancy dress and parade by the Ludlow Foxhounds.

It was a busy day for three-year-old Amber Beverly-Smith at the show.

She won a rosette on her pony Reggie in the morning, and went on to win first place in the afternoon in the dog show with her Jack Russell named Poppy.

A variety of different stalls helped people to part with their money and make sure that no one went hungry or thirsty.

Music was provided by players from the Tenbury Town Band.
