TENBURY MP Harriett Baldwin has been given a major promotion in the new Government.
The MP for West Worcestershire, that includes Tenbury, has been appointed as Economic Secretary to the Treasury.
Her role as City Minister will involve the regulation of the banking and financial sector.
Mrs Baldwin became an MP in 2010 after a career in financial services. She was made an assistant government whip in February 2014.
