THROUGHOUT the summer a Tenbury woman will be travelling the country offering a helping hand to other garden owners preparing to open up for charity.

Sarah Wint has been opening her own garden at Brook Farm for four years and in 2011 it featured on the front cover of The Yellow Book and inside the pages of The English Garden Magazine.

Sarah is a self-taught ‘heartfelt’ gardener with more than 20 years of experience and is also co-founder with Tamsin Westhorpe of The Herefordshire and Marches Horticultural Hub.

During her time at other gardens Sarah hopes to collect the stories of the people and places she visits which will be included in a book compilation to be sold to raise funds for the National Garden Scheme.

She has an interest in the myriad benefits of gardening for health and well-being, and would be interested to hear from readers if they feel they have a story to tell.

Sarah’s travels can be followed through her blog at www.daisybusadventures.wordpress.com, or
