TENBURY is now an all year round tourist destination.

This is the message from the town’s tourist information centre that is now open throughout the year to cope with the demand from visitors.

Apart from a short closure over the Christmas and New Year the centre in Teme Street is ready to provide visitors with information whenever they need it.

Maggie Davies, who chairs the tourism group, said that 2014 was a busy one for the town and she is hoping that this year is even better.

The run up to Christmas including the Mistletoe Festival, pantomime at the Regal, and improved Christmas lights resulted in a busy close to 2014.

She said that the service had a full rota of volunteers operating from its offices in Teme Street.

Although the early months of the year are traditionally quiet the evidence is that an increasing number of people are visiting throughout the year.
