TENBURY High pupils with the golden touch were in chocolate heaven thanks to a love of literature.

Students in Aztec Gold House at the school, now known as Tenbury High School Ormiston Academy, enjoyed a ‘reward trip’ to Cadbury World in Birmingham.

This was all because they were the winners of the school's Literacy Day Inter-House Competition.

The day had been based around the book ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl. It was designed to promote use of literacy throughout the curriculum.

They were given a task to design a new chocolate for Willy Wonka’s Factory and to create a new child to win the golden ticket to enter the Chocolate Factory.

The PTFA sponsored the trip for the grateful pupils.
