ON the big night itself Santa will be using his reindeer to pull his sledge through the skies.
But when he came to Tenbury Rudolph and his mates were resting up and so the big man in red substituted them with a team of two black horses to pull his sledge at the head of the Santa Parade.
When darkness fell there was a procession through the town with children playing a major part carrying coloured lanterns.
Anyone arriving late was in for a disappointment because Tenbury was full of people and parking spaces were at a premium.
For those who made it there could be no doubt that Christmas has really arrived in the town.
The parade takes place at the end of one of the busiest days of the year for Tenbury traders and it has become a popular attraction for people coming from as far away as Wales and the wider West Midlands.
