A TRADITIONAL part of the Tenbury Mistletoe Festival was held at the weekend.
This took place outside the Pump Rooms when the town’s Mistletoe Queen and Holly Prince were crowned.
Throughout the day events took place all over Tenbury including street theatre and music was played in the streets as people got into the spirit of the day.
Shoppers and visitors were entertained by Vamos, the full mask theatre company from Worcester with the premiere of 'A Countdown to Christmas' which brought fun and frivolity to the streets of Tenbury.
A large crowd also watched a specially choreographed dance performance created by Dancefest.
Mistletoe Maidens was performed by DfA (Dancefest adults) on the Malvern Hills District car park and told the story of Baldurina, based on a Norse myth about mistletoe and its magical properties.
Pop-up poets and musicians were also on hand to keep the large crowds warm.
Caroline Palethorpe, who organised the festival, said traders had reported an upturn in business.
