ALMOST 100 years ago German and British soldiers in the First World War put down their guns and started playing football.
A re-enactment of one of those football games was one of the high spots of the biggest day in the 2014 Tenbury Mistletoe Festival.
The game was played in the car park of the TSB in Teme Street.
It included students from Tenbury High School dressed in the clothes of the early 20th century.
