STUDENTS from Tenbury High School have taken to the ski slopes.
Thirty eight pupils and seven staff travelled to Saalbach in Austria by executive coach and ferry.
The pupils from year 10 and 11 experienced six days of challenging skiing in the extensive complex known as Saalbach Hinterglemm.
After an extraordinary first day skiing in rain the groups progressed to be able to journey around most of the resort in their ability groups.
Despite being the first week of January spring like conditions and warm weather were experienced.
By the end of the week the advanced group were skiing black runs and the beginners were snaking down blue runs at great speed.
