LUDLOW detectives are offering free marker pens to help youngsters in the town protect their computer games.
The offer follows a growing number of household burglaries in which electronic computer games and consoles have been targeted.
Detective Constable Scott Ward said six homes in Ludlow had been burgled during the past month, and video games were among the most common items stolen.
"We want teenagers to be aware that this has been happening and we want to do something to help them protect their games and equipment," said DC Ward.
He said front counter staff at Ludlow police station in Lower Galdeford had 200 specialist UV pens to give away.
Any young person calling in between the hours of 9am and 3pm during the week, including weekends, will be able to collect one of the pens.
