THE Rev Alan Seabrook is bidding farewell to Bitterley on Sunday (April 20) after 28 years as rector.
A service celebrating his ministry is being held at Bitterley Parish Church at 11.15am followed by a bring-a-plate meal at the village hall and a presentation.
He and his wife, Pene, are retiring to Bromyard where they have a house.
Church warden June Buckhard said: "We are hoping that all his friends and associates, past and present, will be able to be there."
