OFFICERS investigating a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Malvern are appealing to local residents for information.

The collision occurred at the junction of Madresfield Road and Pound Bank Road, Malvern, on the mini roundabout at 7.30am on Thursday, October 12.

An unknown red car, believed to be a Seat Leon or Ibiza, is reported to have been involved in a collision with a cyclist, who was knocked off his bicycle.

The male cyclist went to accident and emergency and suffered bruised ribs, with the red car failing to stop at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or anybody with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident reference 98s of October 12.
