POLICE have hit out at an 'inappropriate caller' from Redditch who dialled 999 because their train was cancelled.
West Mercia OCC wrote on Twitter on Monday to condemn the actions.
"The 999 line is for when we need to respond to an incident immediately, eg, life at risk, burglary in progress, serious road traffic collision where road is blocked," a tweet read.
"It is not for reporting train's being cancelled.
"Don't put someone else's life at risk for inappropriate calls."
