SCHOOLS is Worcester and across the south of the county are all open today, but many are advising students and parents to exercise caution in travelling, and some timetable alterations have been made.

Blessed Edward, Worcester.

School will be open as normal

Castlemorton CE Primary School:

We will operate a staggered start and finish with registers open until 10am and pick up from 2:30pm.
More important information can be found on the school website castlemortonprimaryschool.co.uk.

The Chase, Malvern.

The Chase will be open as usual on Wednesday thanks to the sterling work of the school's site team. However, there is still a lot of snow and ice around the school, and students and parents should exercise caution with their journey to school in the morning. Sensible footwear is advisable.

Christopher Whitehead Language College, Worcester

School will open slightly later to ensure clearance of 12 acre site. 9 30 -3 30 panto still on! None uniform sensible footwear advised.

Dyson Perrins, Malvern

Dyson Perrins will be open on Wednesday for those staff and students who are able to make it in to school safely. We cannot guarantee a full timetable will be in operation and after school sessions will not run. There is only restricted parking available and I would encourage staff to car share/walk where possible and parents may not be able to drop off their children as they normally would. Students should wear appropriate footwear and stick to the cleared and gritted pathways around the school.

Grove Primary School, Malvern.

Nunnery Wood , Worcester.

The school will be open. The site has been cleared and gritted and we look forward to welcoming students back. However, our students come from a wide area and we acknowledge that a small number of parents/carers might judge that their child’s journey to Nunnery is still too risky to make before Thursday.

Students can wear the most sensible shoes they have for the conditions.

In order to reduce congestion, we will stagger the start of the day:
Year 10: normal school start (and English exam!) (8.30am)
Year 11: arrive for Period 2
Years 7,8 and 9: arrive for Period 3.

Pershore High.

We intend to open school as normal.  The bus bay and car parks remain covered in snow and ice so care should be taken when using these areas.  The reward trip to the cinema will go ahead as planned and students on this trip do not need to wear school uniform.  All other students should be in full uniform.  The Year 11 PPE timetable will continue as planned and Year 13 PPEs have been rescheduled and students have been emailed with changes.  The Carol Service in Pershore Abbey at 7pm will go ahead as planned.

Prince Henry’s,. Evesham

School will be open Wednesday. Students to come in non-uniform with sensible clothing and footwear for cold weather.

The local council have treated the roads and pavements around the school, but care should still be taken. The caretaking team have worked tirelessly to prepare the site for tomorrow and having inspected it today at 2pm, the majority of paths to and from classrooms and now clear of ice.

St James' CE Primary School, West Malvern.

Staggered opening 9.15-10.15 to avoid work traffic on West Malvern Road (limited access) and ease parking issues. Staggered pick up 2.30-3.15 - see website for more information. No Breakfast Club.

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Malvern.

Registers will stay open until 9.30 to allow as many families to walk as possible. The car park is closed and access to the school is on the right hand path and through the main Reception.

Suckley School, Malvern.

School will be open with a staggered start between 9.45 and 10.15 due to only a single track road being open.
There will be no before or after school care available. The KS1 Performance is postponed.

Tudor Grange Academy. Worcester.

TGAW is open but at the later time of 11.00 a.m. to enable all students and staff to get to school safely in the morning. Students should walk carefully.  All footwear is acceptable tomorrow.
