REAL ale campaigners will be raising a toast to female brewers at a Kidderminster beer festival.
Beer enthusiasts will be able to taste beers from UK female ‘brewsters’ at the Town Hall from Thursday May 17, to Saturday May 19.
The event hosted is hosted by CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) and will bring female brewing talents to the forefront and allow punters to enjoy a range of beers, ciders and wine.
Wyre Forest beer-lovers can enjoy live entertainment on the Friday evening from the Belly Fusion Dance Collective and the Irish and Contemporary music group the Ranters.
People can also enjoy tutored beer tasting on Saturday, sampling the brews the festival has to offer.
Hot food and snacks will be available throughout the day.
The festival charity is West Mercia Women’s Aid that provides a lifeline for women and children affected by domestic abuse.
Entry to the festival costs £2 on the Thursday and Saturday, and £3 on the Friday evening.
CAMRA members can enter for free and have early access on each day.
Souvenir glasses are available at £2, and drivers bringing at least one paying visitor have free entry and soft drinks under a designated driver scheme.
Beer tokens are included in the £10 entry package, with top-ups available inside.
Further information, including the selection of drinks, can be found on the Wyre Forest CAMRA website at www.wyreforest.camra.org.uk and on their Facebook page.
