Wyre Forest POP revellers will be transported back to the 90s for a night of upbeat classics performed by iconic singers.

‘Phats & Small’ vocalist Ben Ofoedu will host the star-studded pop extravaganza Big Bens Big Tunes -featuring artists Heather Small, Damage, Tony Mortimer, Dane Bowers and HouseJammerz – at the West Midland Safari Park Venues, Bewdley.

The ‘poptastic’ event will take place on Saturday November 24 with live performances taking place on the Treetops Pavilion stage.

The ‘moving on up’ award-winning singer Heather Small will be bringing her unique voice to delight the Bewdley audience with a set of singalong M People hits including One Night in Heaven and Search for the Hero.

East 17 legend Tony Mortimer will grace the stage with much-loved tracks from his groups catalogue, including the seminal number one Stay Another Day.

The British R&B boy band Damage will be joining the party, performing their chart-topping hits Ghetto Romance and Love Guaranteed to the Safari park stage.

Another Level star Dane Bowers will be performing throwback tracks such as number one Freak Me as well as True Steppers garage anthems Buggin and Out of your Mind.

Live band the HouseJammerz will be performing - getting the crowd dancing to classic club anthems.

The evening's compere Big Ben Ofoedu will also be performing his own upbeat tunes to delight the audience.

Kidderminster-based organiser Lee Perry of 3Wise Monkeys productions said: “The event is big news for the area.

“Personally, I think it will be great for the town and area.”

Frist release tickets cost £36.50 plus a booking fee, with the second release costing £45 plus a booking fee.

A concert and VIP after show party ticket is also on offer at £70 plus a booking fee, where guests can continue to dance into the night at the Spring Grove House.

Doors for the event open from 6pm with the pre-show starting at 7pm.

Car parking at the Safari venues is free of charge.
