SANTA is still set to carry out his tour of Stourport over the next two weeks despite the inclement weather.

Stourport Rotary’s Santa & Sleigh will be visiting a number of streets and venues across the town from Saturday, December 16 to Sunday, December 24.

Donations will be collected during his visits and money collected will go to town charities and organisations.

Pete Roberts, of Stourport Rotary Club, said he was still intending to make his scheduled stops despite the heavy snowfall of the past few days.

The first stop on December 16 will be Co-op at Lombard Street from 11am to 4pm. He will then visit Heightington Place, Church Walk area and Abberley Avenue between 5pm and 9pm.

December 17 will see visits to Powerstation Road and Riverside areas in Mill Lane from 4pm to pm.

The following evening (December 18) will see Lower Lickhill, Vernon and Dorsett Road areas visited between 6pm and 9pm.

On Tuesday, December 19, Santa will stop off at Wilden Top, The Grove and The Birches from 6pm to 9pm.

The Walshes will welcome him on Wednesday, December 20 from 6-9pm while the following evening (December 21) will see Burlish and Lickhill areas visited – again from 6-9pm.

Newtown and Minster Road will be the next stop off points for Santa and his sleigh between 6pm and 8pm on Friday, December 22.

The Co-op on Lombard Street will get a lucky second visit from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, December 24 while his final visit will take place at Tesco in Severn Road on Christmas Eve.
