A CHARITY is set to receive a 2K boost from a local business.

Spectrum Days, based in Old Coach Road, Droitwich, an organisation supporting people with serious disabilities, mainly in Worcestershire, will received more than £2,000 from Global Phones, in Victoria Square, Droitwich.

The business, which deals in telephone services, raised cash for the charity by trekking through miles of mud and sprinting at sports days as well as holding a raffle and bucket collection.

On Friday, November 17 the business, raised their cups in aid of the charity by holding a coffee morning at their offices where local business people came to chat over cake and coffee.

The event raised £215 for the charity.

Global Phones spokesman said: "Global Phones would like to thank everyone who has supported them in their fund-raising efforts and are looking forward to continuing their great new relationship with Spectrum Days."

2017 marks 20 years of Global Phones.
