A MAN armed with an axe threatened staff during raids on two shops in Frankley.
No staff members were injured in the incidents, but the offender made of with cash in both raids.
A spokesman said: "Police were called to reports of an armed robbery at Londis, Wareham Road, Frankley, at 6.30am today (Wednesday 10 January).
"Staff were threatened by a man with an axe who made off with cash and items.
"No-one was injured and anyone with information can call 101, quoting crime reference number 20BW/7118T/18.
"Officers attended a robbery where a man with an axe demanded money from staff at Greggs, Arden Road, Frankley, at 5.45am on Tuesday (9 January).
"He escaped with a quantity of cash and no-one was hurt.
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting crime reference number 20BW/6216K/18."
