A CHURCH in Wythall has helped to raise £430 for the Alzheimer's Society, as part of an effort to make the village dementia friendly.
Hollywood Christian Life Centre on Simms Lane held a mini market in December, offering visitors free hot food and drinks in return for a donation.
The church is one of a number of organisations in Wythall that is seeking to make Wythall a dementia friendly village.
Pastor Steve said: “So many of us know people affected by dementia, we see it both in the church and in our wider community.
“We want to be both generous to those in need and to stand alongside those who are suffering.”
