TWO Bromsgrove care workers have been entered into the national finals of the Great British Care Awards.
Samantha Ward and Sandra Madden, both from Bluebird Care, won the Care Co-ordinator and End of Life Care Awards consecutively at a glitzy ceremony for the regional contest at Edgbaston Stadium last month.
Speaking after the awards, Samantha said: "I was honoured to be announced a winner, it was lovely to be involved in a celebration for those delivering outstanding care."
Sandra added: "I am over the moon she has won this award and loves being part of an amazing team."
The pair were two of seven shortlisted from Bluebird's Redditch and Bromsgrove branch.
Judging day for the national finals will take place in February next year, with a gala evening set for Birmingham's ICC on March 16.
