The funeral of Stourbridge Rugby Club junior player Tom Mole will take place tomorrow (Thursday, May 17) in Oldswinford.

The 14-year-old died last month after a short battle with illness.

The church service will take place at St Mary’s Church at 12.45pm.

There is limited parking so arrive early, park away from the main church car park and respect the local residents.

After the church service, there will be a short private service for family and invited friends at Stourbridge Crematorium.

Flowers will only be from immediate family.

Following the church service, everyone is invited to Stourbridge RFC where the club will spend time celebrating Tom’s life.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the JustGiving page set up to support Birmingham Children’s Hospital in memory of Tom can do so at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/srfcu14

A club statement added: “There will be a photo board at the club for photos of Tom over the years.

“If you have any photos of Tom please bring them to add to the board and if you would like to add a personal message or comment then that would be a wonderful keepsake for the family.

“(Tom’s parents) Simon and Rachel would like to thank everyone for the support and kindness that they have been shown in recent weeks and for the ongoing support in ensuring that Tom is not forgotten which has meant so much to them and their family at this difficult time.”
