THE Syncopators are the latest band to take to the stage at Halesowen’s traditional Sunday night jazz sessions.
Evolving from The New Washboard Syncopators, the band – which now includes a drummer rather than a washboard player – will play at Halesowen Cricket Club on Sunday, January 21.
On this occasion, the highly acclaimed Nick Ward will be filling the drummer’s seat, while other well-known local musicians complete the line-up.
Trevor Jones, jazz club organiser, said: “The band produce the lively foot-tapping classic jazz sounds from the 1920s/30s – ideal for the more energetic dancers.”
The evening runs from 8pm until 10.30pm and admission on the door costs £5.
