McConnel employees have raised more than £2,500 for the Movember appeal for men’s cancer charities after 40 employees grew a ‘tache for cash.
The Ludlow-based agricultural engineering firm saw a festival of facial fuzz throughout the month and celebrated the final day of the campaign with an awards presentation for the best moustaches – with Adam Prime picking up the prize for his wellgroomed ‘bandido’.
UK sales manager Jon Webb, who organised the event, said: “We’re delighted to have raised such a large amount. It was a really enjoyable event and some of the moustaches on display were quite spectacular.
We had a lot of fun and are proud to support such a worthy cause.” McConnel’s female employees also did their bit – judging the top ‘taches and sporting false facial hair for the final day.
