SINGERS, harpists, school students and a guitarist are amongst the performers lined up to entertain in a new season of monthly cake and coffee concerts at Bromsgrove's St John's Church.

The first event takes place on Saturday, September 15, at 10.30am, and will feature soprano Rebecca Burn singing a selection of classical songs, along with Alastair Mosely on clarinet and piano and Steve Cowperthwaite accompanying.

The informal concerts last about 50 minutes, and are followed by complimentary coffee or tea and cake.

Admission is free with a retiring collection.
