A NEW gym is set to offer 24-hour access to fitness fans when it open its doors in Halesowen.

Anytime Fitness is hoping to welcome its first members in eight weeks’ time after setting up shop in Queensway this week.

The company’s pre-sale unit – which will occupy 7,000 square metres in Halesowen town centre – opened on Monday for people to sign up for memberships at a special rate.

Initially creating five new jobs, but with more to come when the club opens, Anytime Fitness will open 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week – the first of its kind in the town, giving members the convenience to work out whenever it suits.

Halesowen club manager Tom Fletcher said: “We are very excited to bring this concept to Halesowen and aim to open in approximately eight weeks.

“During that pre-launch period we are offering special discounts for the first 250 people who join.

“State-of-the-art strength training and cardiovascular equipment will be offered and certified personal trainers will also be available to help you energise your workout and challenge your limits.”

The club will also offer a free workouts app, as well as a whole host of classes and will be open 24 hours-a-day due to using a security access key.

Tom added: “And best of all, when you join one club, you join them all, because your access key will give you access to any club worldwide.”
