INCREDIBLES 2, Sherlock Gnomes and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again are just a few of the big films screening at Bromsgrove's Artrix this season.

As well as showing some of the latest feature films, the Slideslow Drive cinema will also be airing more unusual offerings, including foreign language films, with standard tickets priced at £7.

This season's family films include animated movies Sherlock Gnomes, screening July 26, 28, 30 and August 2, and Incredibles 2 from August 13 to 16.

Thomas & Friends Big World! Big Adventures will air on August 14 and 15.

Artrix will be hosting a week of screenings of the new Mamma Mia! from August 3 to 11, followed by the re-release of the 80s classic Heathers on September 3 and 4.

The Escape, starring Gemma Arterton and Dominic Cooper, will be shown on September 7 and 10.

French films like Let The Sunshine In and erotic thriller L'Amant Double will feature on dates from July 25 to July 31, followed by German movie The Fade on August 1 and 2.

Icelandic film Under The Tree will air on August 15 and 16. All have English subtitles.

Artrix also screens live theatre, music and dance events from a host of international art establishments, including Romeo & Juliet on July 18, Merry Wives of Windsor on September 12 and King Lear on September 27.

Fans of classical music can enjoy pre-recorded screenings of Andre Rieu's 2018 Maastricht Concert on July 28, or Jonas Kaufmann's Under The Stars on September 5.

Screenings are held in the art centre's 300-set main auditorium. There is a pre-show bar with snacks and drinks available.
