ARMED police were seen rushing to an incident in Worcester.
A man appeared to be arrested after 20 police officers were in Avon Road, Worcester on the corner of Conway.
The police were seen at around 6am this morning.
An eyewitness, who did not wish to be named, said: "I saw about 20 police officers with their guns out and shields running down Conway towards Avon Road. They closed Avon Road at the top.
"I was shocked to see that, because you don't know what might be going on.
"I saw a man being put into a van and then a child of about eight being taken out (of the house)."
A West Mercia Police spokesman said: "I can confirm that police were called to an address on Conway, Worcester at around 6am this morning (25 May)."
Police confirmed that a man has been arrested.
