WITNESSES are being sought to a fatal two-car crash near Inkberrow.

A 37-year-old man died in the incident at about 7.30am on the A422 between Flyford Flavell and Inkberrow on Friday, March 16.

It involved a silver Nissan Qashqai and a black Ford Fiesta.

The victim, who was driving the Ford, died from injuries he sustained during the collision.

The Nissan driver was taken to hospital for her injuries, which were not thought to be life threatening.

West Mercia Police has now launched an appeal for anyone who witnesses the incident, or was in the area before the collision, to get in touch.

Constable Steve Screen said: "We are particularly keen to hear from people who were driving in the area shortly before the collision, as they may have seen the vehicles travelling along the road or have dashcam footage.

"Please get in touch to share what you saw. Even the smallest piece of information could help our investigation into this tragic incident."
