A FAMILY-run home care provider has relocated its Warwickshire head office to Bromsgrove to be closer to its customers.

Helping Hands, previously based in Alcester since 1989, marked the official opening of its new branch in Stourbridge Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today (March 20).

Branch manager Sarah Underhill said: "We wanted to be closer to our carers and their customers.

“Our aim is to ensure our customers receive the best possible care so that they can remain as independent as possible in their own homes, and the new Bromsgrove office is an extension of that commitment."

The new location of the Redditch and Bromsgrove branch continues to employ four fully-trained specialists, providing companionship, cooking and cleaning, personal care and support to adults of all ages.

Bromsgrove District Council's Peter Whittaker was joined by Helping Hands delegates at the open day, where residents were invited to chat with staff and enjoy a slice of cake.
