CATSHILL's Blue Cross rehoming centre is hosting an Easter Fair to raise funds to help the hundreds of homeless pets it cares for every year.

The event at Catshill Village Hall in Golden Cross Lane will feature a tombola, Easter games and activities, with proceeds going towards the charity.

Centre manager Neil Edwards said: "We’re very grateful to our wonderful and loyal supporters and could not do the work we do without their help.

"We hope lots of animal lovers will join us for some Easter fun. What better way to help pets in need than having fun and eating delicious goodies?”

Refreshments, low-cost pet foods and supplies will be on sale on the day, and all children will receive a free goodie bag.

Blue Cross relies wholly on public donations to continue caring for local cats and dogs in need. To find out more about the Easter Fair, adopting a homeless pet, or to donate, visit bluecross.org.uk or call the centre on 0300 777 1460.
