TWO houses were burgled on the same day in St Peter's.
Jewellery was taken from a home in Primrose Crescent on Wednesday (February 7) and a home in Farne Avenue was broken into between 7.30am and 9.15 on the same day.
Cllr Roger Knight, who represents St. Peter's Parish on Worcester City Council, was appalled by the news.
He said: "It was quite disturbing to read that there has been a number of burglaries in St Peter's recently. It is not something we have seen much of in St Peter's and it is not something we want to see in the future.
"St Peter's is a lovely place to live and it will continue to be."
If anybody has any information about the burglaries they should contact West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 636s for the Primrose Crescent burglary and 725s for the Farne Avenue burglary.
