SANTA will be stopping off at the Primrose Hospice this year as he makes a special appearance at their annual Christmas Fayre.

The hospice, on St Godwald’s Road, Bromsgrove, will open its doors on Saturday, November 25, from noon, for an afternoon of festive fun and activities.

As well as an appearance from Father Christmas, there will be children’s activities and prizes, craft stalls, a tombola, a raffle, plus entertainment from the Primrose Choir.

Fundraising manager Emma Williams said: “Everyone is invited to come along to Primrose to look around the hospice and take part in the festivities.

“During the afternoon we are hosting taster sessions of the holistic therapies that Primrose offer and there will be staff on site to chat about the services that can be accessed here.

“There is more to Primrose than meets the eye and we want to give the local community the chance to come and have a look around and support their local hospice.”

Visitors to the Christmas Fayre can also remember someone special by making a donation to the hospice’s Lights of Love campaign, adding the name of a loved one to special remembrance books placed around the Christmas trees located in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Rubery.

The event, which will be officially opened by BBC Midlands Today presenter Joanne Malin, runs from noon until 4pm.
