TRIBUTES have been paid to an "amazing" mum, sister and daughter, who died following a horror crash at the weekend.

Mum-of-two Emma Aldridge, who loved going for walks in the Malvern Hills, died at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, after the crash on the A44 Bromyard Road, near Cotheridge.

She was a passenger on a black Suzuki motorcycle involved in a crash with a blue Citroen C4 car.

The 40-year-old, from Birmingham, was described by her sister Rachel as the "heart and soul of the family; kind, caring, fun and so loving."

"We are beyond devastated," she said.

"Her two boys - aged 12 and 15 - meant the world to her and Emma adored them and always put them first.

"She was also dearly loved by her niece and nephew, her two sisters and all of the family.

"Emma was the most amazing person and the most amazing daughter, mum and sister that you could wish for.

"She was absolutely obsessed with music and was genuinely the most caring person, who would give her last penny to help anyone.

"Emma was loved by so many and was full of energy.

"We would like to thank everyone for the love and support they have shown."

She added that Emma's workplace held a minute's silence and has opened a condolence book in her memory.

She also thanked West Mercia Police for its support.

She added: "Their sympathy and compassion at this difficult time reminds us of the compassion and understanding that Emma showed every day."

Motorbike rider Dean Turvey, aged 41, from Birmingham, was also killed in the crash on Sunday, which took place just after 1.40pm.

The driver of the Citroen, a man in his 60s, was unhurt.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision.

Anyone with information is urged to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 425s of October 15.
