TWO Bewdley businesses are supporting the 30th anniversary of Bewdley Festival - ready for opening night tonight (October 6).
Bewdley Festival kicks-off this evening at the Mercure Bewdley the Heath Hotel with a performance by poet Roger McGough and LiTTLe MACHiNe.
And to celebrate opening night, Bewdley Brewery has created especially for the festival, Bewdley Festival Anniversary Ale.
The brewery have also joined forces with Mick Jeynes, of Bewdley Master Butchers, by providing their Worcestershire Sway Ale to be part of Mick's Bewdley Festival Sausages.
A spokesman for Bewdley Festival said: "Not only can festival-goers enjoy the terrific programme, they can have a drink and a snack as well."
This year's Bewdley Festival runs between October 6, and October 15, and guests include Timothy Watson, Dr Pete Waterman, Max Keen, Lesley Smith, T'pau, Jan Ravens and Sara Pascoe.
