A GROUP of runners took on a challenge in memory of a four-year-old girl who died from cancer.
At the Worcester City 10K and half marathon, a team of 28 runners raised over £10,200 for the Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust with donations still coming in.
Grace Kelly, from Crowle near Worcester, passed away in November 2014 from an aggressive form of renal cancer, with the charity set up to help children suffering from cancer.
Jen Kelly, Grace's mum who took on the half marathon said: "A big thank you to all of them that ran for the Grace Kelly Ladybird Trust for childhood cancer awareness and research.
"We are delighted to announce that over £10,200 has been raised from the event so far, with some donations still coming in.
"A big thank you to all that came to support our runners as well, the atmosphere was amazing, and a lot of awareness was raised."
