A MAN has been named after the body was recovered from the River Severn in Upton.
The body of a man was recovered from the River Upton on Severn on Tuesday and has been named as 48-year-old Sean Begley.
Mr Begley attended the Upton Blues Festival on Friday July 21 and was last seen at approximately 2am the following day, on the bridge near to the steps entering the camp site.
The next of kin have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen or been in contact with Mr Begley between Friday July 21 and Tuesday.
