ARTWORK produced by creative Black Country folk is now on display at Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust.

This summer, the Birmingham New Road tourist attraction is hosting its first open exhibition.

Artwork includes drawings inspired by the limestone caverns and historical engravings, studies of wildlife, canal scenes and photography.

There is also a vast range of media including pencil, chalks, watercolours, oils, acrylics, hand printed vinyl cuts, knitting and crochet, felt and embroidery and hand quilting.

“We’re amazed by the entries to our open exhibition," said Holly Wain, the trust's heritage activities assistant.

"We have such a brilliant range of works which really do celebrate the creative talents of our local community.

"We hope that visitors come to support this exhibition and enjoy the fantastic display."

The exhibition runs until September 18.
