CREWS tackled a series of fires across Worcestershire last night including a garden fire which spread to a conservatory in Worcester.
Firefighters put out an open fire in Honeybourne, near Evesham at around 10.12pm last night (Friday) after a bonfire was left unattended.
The fire, which was around six metres by three metres, was put out using a jet water shuttle.
They also fought a fire at Ombersley Street East in Droitwich at 9.42pm. Fire damage was caused to a window frame while the inside of the building suffered smoke damage.
A fire in the open reported at Wells Road, Worcester, at 9.28pm.
However, it turned out to be a false alarm and was described by crews as 'controlled burning'.
A fire was put out at Calder Road, Worcester, at 9.08pm when a garden fire spread to a fence and conservatory.
A hose reel and beaters were used to extinguish a fire at Burlish Top Nature Reserve in Stourport. Firefighters received the call at 8.50pm. The fire involved 10 square metres of grass and undergrowth.
