COULD you give this "wonderful companion" his forever home?

Tyson, who is just over 10, first came into the Worcestershire Animal Rescue Shelter (WARS) in 2014 – but was recently returned, due to no fault of his own.

Staff at the shelter are now appealing to find him a loving new family and say he is an "absolute charmer".

Tyson enjoys gentle walks and belly rubs, and loves a snooze in his comfortable bed.

Claire Tregunna, shelter manager, said: "He is an absolute charmer who can win the hearts of anyone who meets him, but sadly the forever home he so deserves has not yet come along.

"He absolutely loves the company of people. His biggest weakness however is a belly rub, it’s just his favourite thing in the whole world.

"He does, however have a bit of an old man stubborn streak, but some gentle temptation with a tasty treat gets him going again.

"He never fails to put a smile on the faces of staff and volunteers.

"He would make someone a wonderful companion and will bring a lot of joy to someone’s life."

Tyson would suit a family which is home for most of the day, but he can be left for a couple of hours dozing away.
