POLICE are appealing for information after three motocross bikes were stolen from a property in Ross-on-Wye.

The bikes were stolen sometime between 10pm on February 8 and 9am on February 9, when the thief/thieves forced entry into a white Transit van on Sycamore Close in Ross-on-Wye.

The van was recovered close to the scene in Walford Road, but two Yamaha bikes and an Orange KTM motocross bike had been taken.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area between the times stated or anyone who may have information about the incident.

Investigating officers are keen to identify the occupants of a silver or light coloured van that was seen in the area at the time as they may have important information.

Anybody with any information should ring police on 101, quoting incident number 100s of February 9.
