A POPULAR Bromsgrove hardware store is launching free monthly DIY clinics, to help residents who are having trouble tackling household tasks around the home.

Broad Street DIY will be trialling the new clinic on February 11 at their Worcester Road store, where staff will be offering visitors free advice on anything from repairing leaking taps to fixing their toilet.

During a one-to-one informal appointment, customers of all experience levels can benefit from safety guidance and information on relevant regulations from expert staff.

Paul Warren, managing director at Broad Street DIY, said: "Even the most experienced DIYer can come across problems. We hope our clinic will offer helpful support to those who are frustrated by a job that just isn’t going right.

"The clinic will be held in our first floor showroom, away from the busy shop, and people can relax with a mug of tea or coffee while explaining what their particular problem is.”

The clinic will run from 9am to 11am, and then again at the same time on March 11.

Places are limited and appointments must be booked in advance, either by speaking to a member of staff in store, or on 01527 873 555.
